Shift Schedule: MonFri; 9hr shifts

8 hrs billable; Fulltime is required

Call Schedule: Nights; 15hrs & 24hr call; 7a7a

Call Type: Beeper

Call Response Time: 20 mins

Call Volume: 610 calls/night; 25 expected onsite callins

Phone Consults: 24

Patient Volume: Up to 12

Rounding Included: Yes

For new admissions & new surgical patients from previous nights.

No. of Procedures: Up to 12 (less IP)

Duties:

Will not have a scribe for this assignment & will be responsible for all charting & work completion without an assistant joining them throughout the day.

Will review all of their pathology & complete the line of work by communicating w/ the nurses the letters they want to send their patients w/ results & follow up recommendations.

Required Procedures/Skills:

OP: EGD Colonoscopy pH studies Manometry Sigmoidoscopy & IP PEG/PEGJ tube placement.

Olympus Hydrogen breath testing & Capsule endoscopy.

Use of Propofol

Preferred: IP ERCP/EUS

No. of Procedure Rooms: 4 Endo Suites

Trauma Level: II

EMR: Paragon & EndoPro

Other Info:

No admissions; Hospitalists admit.

Well established highly accomplished Endo Unit team.

Hospital Privileges Required: Yes

Travel lodging and malpractice insurance covered

Requirements:

Active MI License

ABLS BLS ACLS ATLS & PALS
