You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe MEP Project Engineer will lead the effort in coordinating, scheduling, and managing the MEP trades and their associated, Design consultants, authorities and subcontractors. The MEP Project Engineer will work with the project team to ensure successful completion of all MEP trade work. The MEP Project Engineer reports directly to the Project Manager.
Duties And Responsibilities
Bachelor’s degree in electrical / mechanical engineering preferred.
10+ years of experience in Construction/MEP Coordination
Ability to identify and resolve complex issues
Strong grasp of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and low-voltage systems
General understanding of Building Codes, Mechanical Codes, Electrical Codes and Plumbing Codes as they relate to construction of project
Experienced dealing with MEP subcontracts and subcontractors
Proficient computer skills
Revit, and AutoCAD skills are a plus.

Pre-Commissioning Preparation
Review Design Specifications: Study project designs, drawings, and technical documents to understand the systems and equipment being commissioned. This includes reviewing specifications for mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and control systems.
Prepare Commissioning Plans: Develop detailed commissioning plans and procedures that outline the steps, timeline, resources, and responsibilities required for each phase of the commissioning process.
Identify Critical Equipment: Identify key pieces of equipment and systems that need to be thoroughly tested during commissioning, ensuring they meet operational and safety standards.
Coordinate with Project Teams: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure a clear understanding of the commissioning process, timelines, and expectations.
Full-time
