You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailResponsible for leading and coordinating Projects Teams formed to provide complete projects management services to execute assigned projects in onshore areas from inception to completion and hand over.Prepare or review and implement project plans such as Project Execution, Risk Management, Assurance, Quality, HSE interface etc.Manage and coordinate a team of multi discipline Engineers to achieve a safe and cost effective design through timely resolution of technical and engineering issues.Participate in the preparation of tender packages, tendering process, evaluation of tenders and submissions with appropriate recommendations to relevant tender Committees.Generate and maintain risk registers by updating these in order to ensure that risks are managed and mitigated.Interface closely with end user and other stakeholders including Government and Statutory authorities and other third party entities such as JVs.Participate in the processing and resolution and Variations and Contractor claims.Participate and provides input to support project schedule, project cost, budget, contract administration, progress reporting, change management and gate approval activities.Participate in the review and development of company procedures and guidelines as and when assigned.Developing and implementing the project planManaging and coordinating the work of the project teamOverseeing the design, engineering, and construction of the projectEnsuring that the project meets all applicable safety and environmental standardManaging the project budget and scheduleCommunicate with the client and other stakeholders throughout the project to keep them informed of the project's progress and to address any concerns they may haveResponsible for managing "project change log" to access the impact of resource, cost & time in all disciplinesResponsible for managing "Issue Management Log" to identify, control, track and close the critical actions.Updating lesson learned register frequentlyManaging "Project Interface Log" and organizing meeting on monthly basisEnsuring 2weeks look ahead resources are available.Assist in resolving project management problems related to project planning deficiencies, project quality defects (in engineering, procurement, or construction), schedule slippages, and potential cost over runsWork closely with project engineers and other project professionals to identify risks and opportunitiesFormulate and implement strategies to improve project planning, cost, schedule, and/or qualityEvaluate existing tools, methodologies, best practices and technologies to enhance project planning or executionLead internal or external problem-solving teams as directed by management.Preparing/responding to formal letters
Project Planning and Coordination
Project Scope Definition: Work with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to define the scope of work, project objectives, deliverables, and constraints.
Develop Project Plans: Develop comprehensive project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation. Ensure these plans align with client needs and project specifications.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks associated with the project, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively address challenges as they arise.
Procurement Management: Oversee the procurement of materials, equipment, and services needed for the project, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with project specifications.
Coordination: Coordinate with various internal teams (engineering, design, procurement, quality control) and external vendors, ensuring that all activities are aligned with the project timeline.
Technical Oversight and Engineering Leadership
Technical Expertise: Provide technical direction and guidance to the project team, ensuring that engineering solutions are feasible, cost-effective, and meet required standards.
Engineering Design Review: Review and approve engineering designs, specifications, and calculations to ensure they align with client requirements and industry standards.
Troubleshooting: Address and resolve technical issues or challenges encountered during the project execution phase, providing engineering solutions where needed.
Quality Control: Ensure that all engineering work complies with quality standards and industry regulations. Conduct regular reviews and inspections to maintain high standards of workmanship and safety.
