Call Coverage: ED & Cath Lab

Call Type: Beeper

Call Response Time: 30 mins

Rounding Included: Yes

Support Staff: 1 NP/PA

Required Procedures: Able to perform BOTH Vascular & Thoracic surgeries.

Cardiac/Thoracic:

General CV/thoracic surg (open & endoscopic)

Coronary Artery Bypass Surgery

Congenital defects (ASD VSD PFO etc)

Valvular Repair/Replacement Aneurysm repair

Lung resection (including VATs) Chest Wall or Pleural procedures

Esophagus & Diaphragm surgeries

Perm Pacemaker placement AICD (Automatic Internal Cardiac Defibrillator) Left ventricular assist devices TAVR CABG Vent Mgmt Bronchoscopy

Eval & Mgmt of Acute Vol/BP issues

Insertion of CLine ALine PA Catheter IABP.

Vascular

General (Open & Endovascular)

Aneurysm Repair Bypass procedures

Endarterectomy Subclavian Steal procedure

TAVR CABG Vent Mgmt Bronchoscopy Eval. & mgmt of acute vol/BP issues.

Insertion of CLine ALine PA Catheter IABP.

Trauma Level: III

EMR: Athena/Medhost

Required to Supervise APPs: Yes

Temporary Privileges available: Yes

Travel lodging and malpractice insurance covered

Requirements:

Active TX License

Fellowship

ACLS ATLS
