Job Description
We are seeking a highly dynamic FP&A leader to oversee and lead finance partnering activities for foodpandas APAC markets and all businesses including new ventures. This role will involve leading and managing a team of five senior FP&A professionals who support the respective APAC markets.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee and lead finance partnering activities for APAC markets and all businesses including new businesses. Capacity to adapt to the challenges of operating in volatile economies and managing the impacts of inflation and currency devaluations ensuring real values is derived from right strategies.
- Focusing on markets which are developing/under developed but has huge potential for growth (PKBDPH and CLM) to support and contribute on the strategy piece of operational finance.
- Partner with regional business heads and country managers in management accounting budgeting and forecasting and financial analysis.
- Develop financial plans based on an indepth understanding of business needs with the objective of achieving growth and profitability targets.
- Oversee financial and information analysis measure the financial impact from a broad range of variables and key indicators.
- Compile and present financial data to evaluate business performance and provide informed recommendations.
- Driving the Business to meet target KPIs by providing proactive insights to highlight opportunities for improvement to support decision making (e.g. pricing)
- Leading change management projects including new country expansion new vertical launches or new product rollouts
- Lead adhoc projects and continually automate/streamline processes to improve business efficiency in the region keeping in view the complexities around various countries of operation.
- To groom existing team and further build to be the next hyperfunctional finance team
Qualifications :
- Extensive Professional Experience
- Minimum of 14 years of handson experience working across diverse industries and business models.
- Proven track record of implementing and managing enterprisegrade software solutions including but not limited to SAP (B1 and S4 Hana) and Microsoft Dynamics.
- Startup Expertise
- Demonstrated capability in navigating the challenges of the initial startup phase including setting up operational frameworks and driving organizational growth from inception.
- Specialized Knowledge in Emerging Markets
- Indepth understanding of the complex financial and operational dynamics associated with businesses in developing countries.
- Expertise in managing challenges like high inflation currency devaluation and other barriers to doing business in these regions.
- Finance Professional with a Strategic Edge
- Strong background in financial management combined with a businessoriented mindset to serve as a strategic partner to stakeholders.
- Ability to provide tailored solutions to meet business needs at different stages of growth and operations.
- Leadership and Team Management
- Experience leading and managing large multifunctional teams.
