Caregiver Needed

We are seeking a caring and dependable Personal Caregiver to assist an elderly senior with her daily tasks. The ideal candidate should exhibit empathy patience and a deep understanding of the elderlys needs.

The main duty of the caregiver will involve ensuring the elderly mothers wellbeing safety and comfort while also fostering her independence and enhancing her quality of life.

Responsibilities:

Supervise and administer prescribed medications.

Aid with mobility transfers positioning and walking.

Prepare and serve nutritious meals and assist with feeding when necessary.

Perform light household chores to maintain cleanliness.

Accompany the elderly to medical appointments social engagements and other events.

Provide companionship emotional support and engaging conversations.

Monitor and report any health or behavioral changes to the family and healthcare team.

Encourage participation in cognitive and physical activities for overall wellbeing.

Follow safety protocols to ensure a secure environment and prevent accidents.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a caregiver for seniors.

Knowledge of caregiving principles and techniques.

Strong communication skills and compassionate interaction.

Effective organizational skills and task prioritization.

Ability to remain calm and resolve issues in stressful situations.

Compassion patience and a positive outlook on caregiving.

Physical endurance for lifting moving and standing for extended periods.

CPR and first aid certification preferred but not mandatory.

High school diploma or equivalent education.

Working Conditions:

Position can be parttime or fulltime as per the seniors requirements.

Flexible work hours may include weekends and holidays.
