Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Engineering Manager to lead and mentor a team of talented engineers. In this critical role you will be responsible for all aspects of the engineering function including:
Team Leadership:
Lead mentor and coach a highperforming team of engineers fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
Recruit hire and onboard new engineering talent.
Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Set clear goals and expectations for the engineering team.
Project Management:
Plan execute and track engineering projects ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
Manage project timelines dependencies and risks.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams (e.g. product design marketing) to ensure successful project outcomes.
Technical Expertise:
Provide technical guidance and support to the engineering team.
Stay abreast of the latest technologies and industry trends.
Contribute to the technical architecture and design of our products.
Ensure the quality and maintainability of our software.
Process Improvement:
Continuously improve engineering processes and methodologies.
Implement and maintain best practices in software development (e.g. Agile Scrum).
Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the engineering team.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
Experience: 5 years of experience in software engineering with at least 2 years of experience in a leadership role (e.g. Engineering Manager Team Lead).
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of software development principles methodologies and best practices. Experience with list specific technologies relevant to the company e.g. programming languages cloud platforms databases.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead motivate and mentor a highperforming engineering team. Excellent communication interpersonal and collaboration skills.
Project Management Skills: Experience in planning executing and tracking software development projects. Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g. Agile Scrum).
ProblemSolving Skills: Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical challenges.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
US Citizenship or Green Card Holder: This position is open to US Citizens or Green Card Holders only due to briefly state reason e.g. access to sensitive data government contracts.
