Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Systems Engineer to join our growing team. In this remote role you will be responsible for designing implementing and supporting complex IT systems and infrastructure. You will work closely with crossfunctional teams to ensure the stability security and performance of our critical systems.
Responsibilities
Design implement and maintain server network and storage infrastructure.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to systems applications and networks.
Monitor system performance and proactively identify and address potential issues.
Participate in the evaluation selection and implementation of new technologies.
Develop and maintain system documentation and procedures.
Provide technical support to endusers.
Participate in oncall rotation for afterhours support.
Stay current with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Contribute to the improvement of our IT processes and infrastructure.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
5 years of experience as a Systems Engineer or in a similar role.
Strong understanding of server administration (Windows and/or Linux).
Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g. VMware HyperV).
Experience with networking protocols (TCP/IP DNS DHCP).
Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g. AWS Azure GCP) is a plus.
Experience with scripting languages (e.g. Python PowerShell).
Excellent troubleshooting and problemsolving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
