Tank Installation and Construction
Overseeing Tank Construction: Supervise the assembly, installation, and construction of storage tanks, ensuring all safety protocols and design specifications are followed.
Coordination with Engineers and Contractors: Work closely with engineers, contractors, and other project managers to ensure the tank construction project progresses smoothly, is within budget, and meets quality standards.
Site Preparation: Oversee site preparation for tank installation, ensuring proper foundations and structural integrity.
Maintenance and Inspection
Regular Inspections: Conduct or supervise regular inspections of tanks to check for signs of wear, corrosion, leaks, or structural issues. This includes internal and external tank inspections and pressure testing when applicable.
Preventive Maintenance: Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules to ensure tanks are functioning properly and to minimize the risk of failures or emergency repairs.
Repairs and Upgrades: Oversee the repair of tanks, including welding, re-coating, and replacing parts. Manage upgrades or modifications to tank systems based on evolving operational requirements.
Safety and Compliance
Health and Safety Management: Ensure that tank operations comply with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations. This includes adhering to safety standards related to tank inspections, maintenance, and operation.
Emergency Response: Supervise and participate in emergency response drills for tank-related incidents, such as leaks, spills, or fires. Ensure that safety equipment is readily available and maintained.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry-specific requirements (e.g., API standards for oil and gas, OSHA regulations, environmental protection guidelines).
Team Supervision and Coordination
Team Management: Supervise and manage a team of tank operators, maintenance workers, and contractors. Ensure workers are trained and equipped with the necessary tools and protective equipment to carry out their tasks.
Task Delegation: Assign tasks based on worker capabilities, monitor progress, and ensure that the work is done efficiently, safely, and to the required standards.
Performance Evaluation: Monitor team performance, provide feedback, and conduct performance reviews to ensure high standards of work.

Monitoring Tank Operations: Oversee the daily operations of tanks, including monitoring liquid or gas levels, pressure, temperature, and other factors that impact their operation.
Data Recording and Reporting: Keep accurate records of tank data (e.g., maintenance logs, inspection reports, operational data) and ensure reports are submitted to management or regulatory bodies as required.
