About the Role:
We are excited to be supporting a wellestablished veterinary practice in Doncaster as they seek to recruit a dedicated and experienced Head Nurse. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate veterinary nurse looking to take the next step in their career leading a team within a supportive and progressive environment.
As Head Nurse you will play a key role in overseeing clinical operations supporting a team of veterinary nurses and ensuring the highest standards of patient care. You will be expected to manage daytoday operations help drive improvements and foster a culture of learning and development for all team members.
Location: Doncaster
Contract Type: Fulltime
Working Pattern: 4 or 5 days per week 8/10hour shifts and 1:4 weekends.
Salary: Starting from 32000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support a team of veterinary nurses and support staff.
- Oversee the clinical operations of the practice ensuring effective workflow and patient care.
- Assist with clinical procedures and provide handson nursing support.
- Drive continuous improvement in patient care ensuring a high level of customer service.
- Manage stock control and ensure the practice is compliant with health and safety standards.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior nurses and other clinical staff.

Requirements:
- Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) with proven experience in a clinical setting.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Passion for patient care and a commitment to high clinical standards.
