Job Purpose
To support Sales and Marketing with Sales Administration Stock Control and delivering exceptional customer service to achieve departmental targets.

Detailed Responsibilities and Indicators
1. Sales and Business Administration (45%)
- Canvassing and opening new customer accounts based on viability.
- Monitoring monthly sales using the Sales Management process.
- Utilizing SAP to assess sales performance and implementing action plans when necessary.
- Providing monthly feedback to the Regional Manager.
- Aligning customer strategies with marketing initiatives.
- Supporting route planning in collaboration with Warehouse staff and logistics teams.
- Hosting trade evenings and customer entertainment.
- Initiating and monitoring promotional activities.
- Assisting with credit applications and supporting debtors in timely collections.
- Ensuring outstanding debtors remain under 45 days.
- Managing company vehicles and equipment per policy.
Key Indicators:
- New accounts established and monitored monthly.
- SAP data used effectively for assessments.
- Marketing and promotions implemented successfully.
- Strong customer relations and satisfaction.
- Compliance with credit and debt processes.
2. Stock Control (15%)
- Coordinating with Warehouse for optimal stock availability.
- Assisting customers in managing their stock levels.
- Monitoring and forecasting stock needs monthly.

- High customer satisfaction regarding stock availability.
3. Compliance (10%)
- Adhering to controls and procedures to maintain company integrity.
- Reporting risks and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

4. Customer Service (20%)
- Building effective working relationships with customers.
- Resolving customer queries promptly and professionally.
- Delivering product training and updates to customers.
- Keeping customer databases current and accurate.

5. Cost Control (10%)
- Ensuring optimal use of financial and other resources.
- Monitoring gross profit and implementing corrective actions when needed.

Job Specifications
Qualifications
Minimum: Diploma/Certificate (NQF 5).
Experience
Minimum: Up to 3 years in a similar role within a Manufacturing environment.
