Roles and responsibilities

Provides advice on activities in defining and implementing the enterprise architecture that will include all the essential elements of the enterprise architecture (business needs, applications, data and technologies)
Recommends on the activities of designing the physical and cloud infrastructure for IT, taking into account cybersecurity policies
Defines the mechanism for ensuring the availability of resilience requirements in the digital architecture
Advises on the activities of establishing and designing the network and communications infrastructure, and cooperates with approved service providers in the Kingdom in this regard
Defines the mechanism for ensuring the quality of all systems/software, and ensures the use of the correct testing tools to verify the quality of these systems/software
Proposes activities to ensure that the enterprise architecture is maintained in a comprehensive manner and ensures the presence of appropriate equipment to ensure its quality
Defines the mechanism for ensuring the correct understanding of business activities, business drivers, business requirements and their reflection on the enterprise architecture
Advises on the activities of interpreting and using the data contained in the enterprise architecture to support business improvement activities
Defines the activities of establishing, updating and managing enterprise architecture models at the Ministry
Advises on the activities of designing and improving the cycle of IT systems/applications as a reviewer, accreditor and consultant
Defines the mechanism for ensuring the compatibility of IT solutions
Advises on the activities of reviewing the latest and best practices that can be included in Enterprise Architecture Management
Identifies the planning, preparation and implementation of various testing activities for new IT systems to ensure that software and applications meet all specifications and requirements
Recommends on the activities of developing a strategy for selecting a set of integration tools (DevOps) to ensure speed, automation and repetition in the production of software and applications in the Ministry
Advises on the activities of designing electronic systems in a way that helps achieve the objectives of the concerned departments

Desired candidate profile

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent
At least 8 years of experience in enterprise architecture, information security or related field
Extensive knowledge of enterprise architecture standards and practices, data models and integration technologies
Experience in designing and implementing enterprise architecture solutions using advanced technologies
Strong analytical skills and ability to identify and solve technical problems
Advanced knowledge of various operating systems and network technologies
Strong communication and interaction with internal teams and customers and ability to work in a multicultural team environment

Strategic IT Planning and Alignment

• Collaborate with senior leadership and business stakeholders to align IT strategies with the organization’s business objectives.
• Define the IT roadmap and help drive the adoption of new technologies and architectures that support business goals.
• Ensure that IT investments are prioritized based on business needs, ensuring that IT initiatives deliver tangible value.
