Job Description

We take a sophisticated approach to risk management and compliance often setting the standard for our industry. The central team coordinates closely with the managing partners of the firms offices globally and others with compliance responsibility around the firm.

As a part of the Risk and Compliance team you will help supporting the delivery of the firms Compliance Framework across Europe. You will report to Regional Compliance Executive and the Head of Regional Compliance for One Europe (HRC) and work closely with Compliance Managers and Officers in the Region global network and the international compliance team where appropriate.

As the Senior Compliance Coordinator for One Europe (One Europe refers to the firms UK and Continental European businesses which have combined) you will support Regional Compliance Executive and the HRC in setting up a regional compliance network and coordinating compliance initiatives across Europe with the aim of promotion of compliance and development of a strong compliance culture within the region. It will include:

  • Assisting with collating feedback on policies compliance risk assessments compliance plans and other global initiatives
  • Assisting with monitoring regulatory changes in the Region which may have an impact on the operations of the firm and existing policies and procedures
  • Providing support with collection and presentation of compliance data including on compliance related training maintaining / updating dashboards and compliance reports and ensuring noncompliance instances are adequately addressed
  • Assisting with Mandatory Tax Disclosure (DAC6 & UK MDR) compliance efforts by supporting with obtaining of relevant data its tracking analysis and presentation and maintaining relevant registers and mailboxes.
  • Providing support with engagement letters reviews and standardised requests from clients or their auditors as well as and coordinating procurementrelated questionnaires from clients together with relevant global functions
  • Assisting with queries in relation to compliance matters for the Region and responses to incidents
  • Other support to the Regional Compliance Executive as required.

Qualifications :

You will have a legal compliance or tax background with experience gained at a commercial or governmental organisation. A law or accounting/finance degree compliance certifications are desirable. The knowledge of a second foreign European language in addition to English would be an advantage. 

You will need to demonstrate that you can thrive in a team with high professional standards and a flexible clientfriendly commercial approach.

You should demonstrate strong communication and analytical skills along with a high level of commercial awareness excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.

This role follows our balanced hybrid working approach and as long as business needs allow you will be supported to work in a hybrid way with the expectation of working from the office for a minimum of 50% of your time.
