Job Description : Job Title: Project Coordinator Location: China
Reports To: Project Manager/Operations Manager
Employment Type: FullTime Position
Overview: Seeking a highly organized and detailoriented Project Coordinator to support the successful execution of various projects within our organization.
The Project Coordinator will be responsible for assisting in planning coordinating and overseeing daytoday project activities and coordination with the client and other vendors to ensure that the activities are completed on time within scope and according to budget.
This role requires excellent communication problemsolving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams.
The expectation is that the coordinator is stationed in Shenzhen throughout the project period of 2 years from 2025 and will be key point of contact for communication and coordination between the Onsite Client team and Offshore Project Manager & Program Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Communication & Stakeholder Management:
Serve as a liaison between project team members stakeholders and clients to ensure effective communication and project alignment.
Schedule and facilitate project meetings including team checkins status updates and postproject reviews.
Prepare and distribute regular project updates and reports to internal and external stakeholders.
Project Support & Coordination:
Assist Project Managers in planning scheduling and coordinating project timelines resources and deliverables.
Monitor project progress and report status updates to senior management and stakeholders.
Track project milestones and ensure that deadlines are met.
Maintain and organize project documentation including project plans reports and meeting notes.
Resource Management:
Help track project resources and ensure that they are allocated efficiently.
Coordinate procurement activities such as purchasing materials and managing vendor relationships.
Risk & Issue Management:
Identify and escalate project risks and issues to the Project Manager or senior team members.
Assist in developing mitigation strategies and action plans to address project challenges.
Process Improvement:
Help identify opportunities to improve project processes and workflows.
Assist in implementing new project management tools methodologies or best practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Business Administration Project Management or a related field (or equivalent experience).
13 years of experience in project coordination or a similar role (experience in Bank and especially Temenos/CBS Implementation is a plus).
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint) and project management software (e.g. Microsoft Project or similar tools). Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong problemsolving skills and ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
**Preferred Qualifications:
PMP or similar project management certification (or in progress).
Experience in Banking & Financial Industry
Advantage if the consultant has worked for Temenos implementation projects
