Job Description
FLINT is seeking an HSE Advisor with NCSO certification and 23 years of experience in a field HSE position providing HSE support for various client sites and operations in the Fort McMurray region for permanent position in Fort McMurrayAB starting ASAP. In this position you will enjoy a MonFri schedule 8hour workdays and benefits after 300 hours worked.
This position does not include camp accommodations living out allowance or travel allowance. Therefore it is best suited for local candidates; however those willing to travel or relocate at their own expense are also encouraged to apply.
Qualifications :
- Minimum 3 years experience in Field HSE position
- Education in occupational health and safety environmental science engineering or a related field as well as specialized certifications and Journeyperson certificates are considered assets.
- Certification as a National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO) and/or Occupational Health and Safety Certificate (OHS) preferred.
- Meet minimum mandatory safety ticket requirements:
- H2S Alive
- Common Safety Orientation (CSO)
- Standard First Aid
- WHMIS
- Physically capable of performing demanding job tasks in various work conditions.
- Proficient in English both written and verbal communication required.
- Must have own reliable transportation to site.
- Valid drivers license and clean 3year Drivers Abstract with under 9 demerits.
Additional Information :
This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.
