We are seeking a qualified accountant with a technical mindset and a strong desire to learn. This is an exciting opportunity for someone eager to apply their knowledge in a practical setting within a complex multinational emerging market environment. The role offers a blend of technical specialist responsibilities specifically in IFRS problem analysis alongside numerous opportunities to collaborate with wider Finance Group functions and local markets on various oneoff projects and transactions. You will have plenty to learn and will feel a genuine sense of contribution from day one. You will be reporting to a Senior Manager and be part of Group Financial Reporting and Control (FR&C) team based in London.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Working on technical accounting topics researching new questions documenting accounting memos and policies and training local teams on technical IFRS
- Collaborate on diverse finance projects and activities including M&A and Debt transactions
- Assisting in preparing and reviewing Group financial statements (quarterly and annual) for submission
- Adherence to and improvement of internal controls (SOX and similar)
- Assisting with audit requests from the Groups auditors during review and audit engagements
- Engaging with crossfunctional teams on ad hoc finance requests
- Continuously learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment.

Qualifications :
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- Indepth knowledge of IFRS accounting standards
- The ideal candidate will be Big 4 audit trained but candidates that can demonstrate having audited large multinational companies or with have worked in a group reporting role in large multinational organisation will be considered.
- Strong analytical skills and technical acumen.
- Eagerness to learn and grow within the role.
- Bachelors degree or similar strong academics
- Professional qualification such as CPA ACA ACCA or equivalent is highly preferred.
