About the position:
Join us as a Procurement Sr. Analyst and help drive the future of clean solar energy in Mexico! Collaborate with our Procurement & Logistics Team to lead operational efforts and align with Brights ambitious growth goals. Youll be responsible for crafting costsaving and growthoriented procurement strategies managing vendor relationships ensuring ontime and highquality deliveries and maintaining compliance with procurement policies. As we aim to double our growth each year your leadership and expertise will be critical in expanding and strengthening our team ensuring we achieve Brights mission of delivering impactful and sustainable energy solutions. In this role you will oversee procurement logistics and supply chain management reporting directly to our Head of Operations.
Tasks
Your Responsibilities:
This involves identifying and recruiting topperforming vendors overseeing tender processes and negotiations and continuously improving contractor performance to ensure the highest standards in cost quality and service delivery. You will collaborate with engineering teams streamline onboarding processes and maintain effective performance management systems to achieve operational excellence.
- Identify recruit and onboard vendors to ensure they deliver bestinclass costs and quality of work.
- Manage the portfolio of contractors regularly updating and simplifying the recruiting and onboarding processes.
- Oversee tender processes and lead projectspecific negotiations with vendors including coordinating kickoff calls with the engineering team and reviewing quotes for accuracy.
- Maintain and improve vendor performance by utilizing scorecards and implementing performance improvement plans when needed.
- Foster strong vendor relationships to align with company standards and support longterm operational success.
Requirements

- Technical skills: You have a bachelors degree preferably in supply chain management or something related.
- Previous experience: You have a minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain management and you have been part of a former procurement and logistic team and have experience building processes in a startup environment.
- Financial Management: You have 5 years of experience in Financial Management experience in lowmargin industry.
- Supply Chain Optimization: You optimized supply chain processes reducing costs by 20% improving lead times by 15% and securing favorable vendor terms including 90 day credit terms and $1M credit lines ensuring efficient and reliable delivery for diverse client needs.
- Nice to have:
- Certified Supply Chain and Process Optimization Professional: You have a certification in Lean Six Sigma Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or related.
- Experience with international suppliers: You have a strong track record of managing international suppliers successfully navigating cultural and logistical challenges to ensure timely delivery and quality compliance across borders.
Key Results (OKRs):
At Bright we operate on the Objective Key Results System pioneered at Intel and used widely by Google and many tech companies. For this specific role your Key Results (upon which your success will be measured) is:
- Objective: Capture 30% market share in Mexicos industrial solar sector.
- Key Result: 2.5 MWs installed from Industrial projects (50% of 1.8MWs Oct Goal 1.6MWs of 2024 YTD backlog) with IRR (measured at commissioning) > 22% during Q4
- Leading Indicators:
- Time from projects Welcome Call to Commissioning < 70 days (0.25 days/kW)
- 14day trailing of Ops industrial preapproval deliverables approved within SLA 100%
