Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee daytoday operations of the warehouse ensuring all materials and goods are properly stored and managed.
- Ensure accurate inventory management tracking stock levels and performing regular cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely receipt storage and dispatch of goods.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to transport materials safely and efficiently within the warehouse.
- Maintain a clean organized and safe warehouse environment adhering to safety protocols and company policies.
- Perform stocking and unloading of shipments ensuring materials are stored in the correct locations and are easily accessible.
- Monitor shelf life and storage conditions of products ensuring all inventory is stored appropriately to prevent damage or loss.
- Support in order picking and preparing shipments for production and customer orders.
- Assist with regular stock taking generating reports and managing warehouse documentation.
- Ensure that all items are labeled properly with accurate product descriptions serial numbers and barcodes.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or issues to the Warehouse Supervisor and help resolve them promptly.
- Collaborate with other departments such as production sales and logistics to ensure smooth material flow and stock availability.
- Assist in maintaining and tracking warehouse equipment and request maintenance or replacements as needed.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Proven experience in warehouse management preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Forklift operation experience and a valid forklift driving license are mandatory.
- Good understanding of inventory control and stock management processes.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and other departments.
- Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting and moving heavy items.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and the ability to maintain a safe working environment.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management software and basic office software (e.g. Microsoft Excel).
