Job Description
What will you be doing
As a Mechanical Engineer you will join a team in Derby to support our activities within the Nuclear Sector.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Create and optimize designs for various types of heat exchangers (e.g. shellandtube plate finned) to meet specific thermal and mechanical requirements.
- Diagnose and solve operational issues related to heat exchangers such as fouling pressure drop or reduced efficiency.
- Oversee heat exchanger projects from concept to installation coordinating with vendors suppliers and other engineering teams.

- Ability to analyse complex problems propose innovative solutions and ensure designs meet project specifications and standards.

Qualifications :
Experience skills and qualifications required:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in mechanical engineering process engineering and thermal engineering or a related field
- Proficient in relevant design and simulation tools (e.g. AutoCAD Solidworks Catia).
- Knowledge of grid codes standards and regulatory frameworks.
- Fluency in english
