Job Description
As a Mechanical Design Engineer your main responsibilities will be:
- Create detailed 3D models and engineering drawings using CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks CATIA Creo).
- Perform structural and thermal analysis to ensure the integrity and performance of payload components under various space conditions.
- Collaborate with systems engineers to ensure seamless integration
- Conduct and oversee environmental testing (vibration thermal vacuum etc.) to validate design performance.
Who are we looking for
- Minimum of 35 years of experience
- Proficiency in CAD software with CATIA V6 / CREO as mandatory.
- Experience with environmental testing and qualification of hardware.
- Define the architecture of the component and its interfaces Predimension in RDM (material resistance) component Draw 3D components and their assembly
- Track changes in coordination with other departments (calculation industrialization ...) and external suppliers.
Qualifications :
Experience skills and qualifications required:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
