Job Description
Leads a team of engineers and technicians responsible for repairing equipment issues primarily on the Manufacturing line to maintain and improve process quality and productivity for the manufacturing lines.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for machine operating at established standards.
- First responders for any equipment issues on the manufacturing lines when equipment is not operating as intended in a 24/7 operation.
- Gather and analyze equipment performance data to drive continuous improvement within his team and with his peers.
- Create processes and procedures for corrective maintenance within the site ensuring compliance with applicable norms and regulations.
- Create and drive multiyear strategic plan for process improvement projects within his team.
- Represents his teams work to leadership.
- Selects develops and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. Manage and motivate for higher performance; increase skills levels.
Perform the evaluation for annual MERIT granting providing feedback to the staff reporting to him/her.
Ensure the implementation of life and career plans for identified personnel with high potential.
Promote leadership development programs skills and behaviors generated by the corporate and promoted locally.
- Ensure the implementation of Intuitive culture concepts in the department.
- Ensure the establishment of succession plans for critical positions of the Company.
- Drive our Culture Strategy by fostering our mission founding principles individual and leadership expectations.
- Occasional travel is required (up to 10%).
Qualifications :
Skills Experience Education & Training:
- BS in an Engineering discipline (Mechanical Electrical Electronic Mechatronic or related engineering discipline).
- Equipment maintenance knowledge required (mechanical electrical automation).
- Mid level of English speaking reading and writing.
- Good communication skills.
- Knowledge of ISO 13485 (preferred)
- Experience in the medical industry (preferred)
- Strong analytical skills required to fix complex equipment.
- Proficiency across the Microsoft Office suite of productivity software.
