Job Description

Location: Valladolid Spain

Duration: 6 months

About Us: Join our dynamic Spanish Supply Chain team at Lesaffre IBERICA where we are committed to enhancing our supply chain processes through the implementation of advanced tools like DRP (Distribution Requirements Planning) and MPS (Master Production Scheduling). This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain handson experience in supply chain management and contribute to a significant project that will impact our operations.

Position Description: We are seeking a motivated and detailoriented intern to support our local teams in the setup and start of the DRP ( Distribution Requirements Planning )and MPS ( Master Production Scheduling ) tools. The intern will work closely with various departments including IT production and logistics to ensure a smooth implementation and integration of these tools into our supply chain processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the analysis of the current state of planning and supply chain management processes across Lesaffres entities in Spain.
  • Assist in the setup and configuration of the DRP and MPS tools.
  • Collaborate in the design and implementation of the DRP and MPS solution adapting it to the needs and specificities of the entity.
  • Support the data cleaning and preparation process to ensure accurate and reliable data for the tools.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to ensure proper integration of the tools with existing systems.
  • Participate in training sessions and provide support to endusers during the initial phase of tool usage.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of the tool implementation identifying and addressing any issues that arise.
  • Assist in the development of documentation and training materials for the tools.
  • Conduct analysis and provide insights on the performance and effectiveness of the tools postimplementation.

Qualifications :

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Supply Chain Management Logistics Industrial Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Basic understanding of supply chain concepts and tools.
  • Fluency in English ( and Spanish if possible ).
