Job Description

The Senior Manager will be responsible for supporting project assignments from initial kickoff through preparation of deliverables including presentations and reports.  The successful candidate aspires to a level of expertise and industry reputation with the goal of providing expert testimony within a 3 to 5 year timeframe.   Specific project responsibilities include the support of and/or direct execution of the following:

  • Organizing large quantities of construction related documentation
  • Reviewing contracts subcontracts and other contractual documentation
  • Evaluating baseline schedule and assumptions
  • Reviewing estimates & cost reports
  • Onsite construction progress evaluations
  • Preparing project status presentations & update reports
  • Analyzing contemporaneous schedule updates & revisions
  • Change order and pay application administration
  • Asbuilt schedule analysis
  • Asplanned vs Asbuilt schedule comparison
  • Causation analysis
  • Damages quantification
  • Mediation/litigation support as required
  • Prepare opinion presentation material and demonstratives
  • Write draft expert opinion(s)
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by your supervisor or manager.

Qualifications :

Qualified candidates will have 3 to 5 years of construction related industry experience and written communication skills. Additionally candidates must have a working knowledge in the following:

  • P6 MS Project Excel and other graphical communication tools
  • Project scheduling and project controls
  • Budgeting
  • Job cost reporting
  • Construction/building processes & techniques
  • Contract/risk management
  • Data management
  • Schedule and productivity reporting
  • Estimating
  • US based and valid work permit if applicable
  • B.S. in Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent work experience
  • Candidates with forensic accounting expertise and/or Architects may also be considered
  • Work with minimal supervision
  • Strong desire to develop expertise in scheduling and damages analysis with a goal of achieving expert witness recognition in 3 to 5 years.
