Job Description
We are looking for a passionate and innovative Director of Engineering to lead Initiatives and evolve CyberSources Secure Payment Credentials product offering. Within this role you will lead Teams of smart and talented Engineers and Architects to translate the functions business vision into a technical reality. Working within our Secure Payment Credentials suite of products you will thrive in challenging your rich skill set you will be a visionary leader a technical partner a product advocate an agile delivery enthusiast a people enabler and an executor.
As a Director you will:
Be responsible for and the custodian of the longterm technical strategy for Key Initiatives in CyberSources Secure Payment Credentials product Portfolio
Collaborate with product management to continuously evolve the product portfolio and deliver value add to the business
Work closely with senior engineers to develop the best technical solutions and approaches to product development
Delight the customer through the delivery of applications with the highest levels of performance reliability and usability
Proactively drive team and project performance identifying and championing Best Practice Software Development processes
Promote team engagement as well as the ongoing mentoring and professional development of highly skilled technical professionals
Contribute influence and deliver on CyberSources wider organizational strategy and goals (both at a local and global level)
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 23 set days a week (determined by leadership/site) with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications :
Basic Qualifications
10 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelors degree OR 13 years of relevant work experience
Preferred Qualifications
12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 810 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters MBA JD MD) or 6 years of work experience with a PhD
Possess strong computer science credentials as well as a track record of building quality services
Be proficient with some of the following Languages Frameworks & Technologies: Java Spring JavaScript Hibernate Tomcat REST HTTP JSON JUnit TestNG Mockito Jenkins Maven Git and Docker.
Be equally passionate about technology and solving large scale complex business problems
Be a continuous learner who is proactive in their drive to improve their technical skill and knowledge
Be an established selfstarter who possesses a relentless drive to initiate change raise the technical bar
Have expert knowledge of professional software engineering practices and best practices for the full software development life cycle
Clear professional communication skills able to contribute to team discussions knowing when to contribute when to listen and when to ask questions
Have excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy working in a highly iterative agile and collaborative team environment
