Our client is a leading USAbased telecommunications consulting company embarking on a strategic initiative to offboard software development operations in Colombia. They are seeking an experienced and dynamic Team Leader Software Developer to spearhead this transition establish a local development team and drive technical excellence.
Role Overview
As the Team Leader Software Developer you will play a pivotal role in building leading and mentoring a highperforming software development team in Colombia. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals while fostering a culture of innovation collaboration and technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Building: Recruit onboard and mentor a team of software developers to support the clients operations in Colombia.
- Leadership: Provide technical direction establish best practices and create a cohesive team environment that promotes growth and collaboration.
- Project Oversight: Manage the full software development lifecycle from planning and design to deployment and maintenance.
- Collaboration: Work closely with U.S.based stakeholders to align development efforts with business objectives.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the delivery of highquality scalable and secure software solutions.
- ProblemSolving: Address technical challenges and provide strategic solutions to meet evolving business needs.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in software development with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in insert relevant programming languages/technologies here based on client needs e.g. Java Python cloud services etc..
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to build and lead a successful software development team.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with telecommunications and consulting industries is a plus.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a dynamic fastpaced environment.
