Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Understanding of NFTs and Blockchain
- Basic knowledge of NFTs: A solid understanding of how NFTs (NonFungible Tokens) work including blockchain technology minting smart contracts (e.g. ERC721 ERC1155) and how NFTs are bought and sold.
- Understanding NFT marketplaces: Familiarity with how NFT marketplaces operate (listing bidding auctioning royalties etc.) the types of NFTs available (digital art collectibles music etc.) and platforms like OpenSea Rarible and Foundation.
2. Sales Support & Customer Service
- Customer engagement: Ability to provide timely effective support to both clients and sales teams. This includes answering questions solving issues and providing guidance on the marketplace’s features and processes.
- Documentation & proposals: Assisting in the creation of proposals sales presentations and contracts ensuring that all information is uptodate and aligned with the company's goals.
- Order processing and followups: Supporting sales in processing orders confirming payments and ensuring the smooth completion of transactions. Following up with clients to ensure satisfaction and encouraging repeat business.
3. Communication & Interpersonal Skills
- Effective communication: Clear communication skills to relay information about the NFT marketplace blockchain and technical processes to nontechnical clients or team members.
- Client relationship management: Building strong relationships with existing clients and understanding their needs providing solutions and handling any escalated issues that may arise.
- Multilingual communication (optional): In global marketplaces the ability to communicate with clients from different regions in various languages may be a plus.
4. Technical Understanding of the Marketplace Infrastructure
- Product knowledge: Understanding the technical aspects of the NFT platform including how to navigate the backend how listings and smart contracts function and the basic operations of the blockchain.
- Troubleshooting: Ability to assist clients with common issues like wallet integration failed transactions and understanding gas fees or network congestion.
5. CRM and Sales Tools Proficiency
- CRM software: Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems like Salesforce HubSpot or similar tools to manage client information track leads and communicate effectively.
- Data entry & reporting: Ability to enter and maintain accurate client data track sales progress and generate reports for the sales team or managers to monitor performance.
6. Marketing and Product Knowledge
- Product promotions: Knowledge of the company’s NFT platform offerings to assist in promotional campaigns and highlight key features of the marketplace to clients.
- Market research: Being able to understand current NFT trends and the competitive landscape in order to provide valuable insights to both clients and the sales team.
7. Organizational & Time Management Skills
- Task prioritization: Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously whether it’s answering client queries assisting the sales team or managing administrative tasks related to client transactions.
- Project coordination: Coordinating the efforts between the sales technical and customer service teams to ensure smooth execution of deals and customer satisfaction.
8. ProblemSolving Skills
- Client issue resolution: Ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and efficiently especially with transactions or user issues related to NFTs.
- Escalation management: Knowing when and how to escalate issues to the appropriate department whether it's technical support legal or senior sales staff.
9. Familiarity with NFT & Crypto Wallets
- Wallet integration support: Understanding how NFT transactions work within digital wallets (e.g. MetaMask Coinbase Wallet etc.) including wallet connectivity and troubleshooting common issues clients face.
- Cryptocurrency basics: Knowledge of how crypto payments work including understanding gas fees crypto wallets and cryptocurrency exchange processes.
10. Experience in Digital Sales
- Ecommerce or digital sales experience: Previous experience in sales support or customer service in digital or ecommerce environments ideally related to tech digital assets or marketplaces.
- Sales tracking & followup: Helping the sales team with lead nurturing handling inbound inquiries and following up with potential clients to convert leads into sales.
11. Adaptability & Learning Agility
- Continuous learning: NFTs and blockchain technologies evolve quickly so a Sales Support Representative must be able to stay updated with the latest trends and platform features.
- Flexibility: Adapting to different client needs and adjusting support strategies to suit the dynamic nature of the NFT and blockchain ecosystem.
12. Legal & Compliance Awareness
- Basic understanding of regulations: Being aware of NFTrelated legal issues such as copyright intellectual property and token ownership as well as regulatory concerns like KYC (Know Your Customer) and AML (AntiMoney Laundering) in crypto.
