Key Responsibilities:
Provide medical care to passengers and crew members in accordance with company policies and procedures
Conduct routine medical examinations and screenings for passengers and crew members
Diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries and prescribe appropriate medications
Maintain accurate and uptodate medical records for all patients
Collaborate with other medical professionals onboard including nurses and paramedics to ensure the best possible care for patients
Monitor and maintain medical supplies and equipment onboard
Participate in emergency drills and respond to medical emergencies as needed
Educate passengers and crew members on health and safety practices while onboard
Adhere to all safety and security protocols and regulations set by the company and relevant authorities
Qualifications and Skills:
Medical degree from an accredited university
Valid license to practice medicine
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Doctor preferably in a maritime or remote setting
Experience in emergency medicine and/or critical care is highly desirable
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well under pressure and in a fastpaced environment
Excellent problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities
Flexibility to work long hours and be on call as needed
Fluency in English (additional languages are an asset)
