Job Description
About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated OutSystems Developer Intern to join our Agile Scrum development team. In this role you will gain handson experience in building enterpriselevel applications using the OutSystems lowcode platform. Ideal candidates will possess a strong foundation in .NET development SQL databases and a desire to expand their skill set in the rapidly evolving lowcode space. You will contribute to live projects translating business requirements into functional applications while leveraging the efficiency and power of OutSystems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the team to design develop test and deploy OutSystems applications.
- Leverage your 1.NET and SQL knowledge to extend OutSystems capabilities and overcome platform limitations.
- Analyze and translate business requirements into clear technical specifications and detailed documentation.
- Deconstruct existing systems or applications into comprehensive spec sheets and diagrams then effectively replicate functionalities within the OutSystems environment.
- Participate actively in an Agile Scrum team engaging in sprints daily standups and retrospectives.
- Communicate technical concepts and solutions clearly both verbally and in writing to a range of stakeholders.
Qualifications :
- Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field.
Technical Skills:
- Proven experience with .NET development.
- Strong understanding of SQL databases and data modeling principles.
- Familiarity with lowcode platforms and their advantages/limitations.
- Ability to create clear and concise technical documentation.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication skills in English both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Strong problemsolving and analytical skills.
- Enthusiasm for continuous learning and adaptation to new technologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience with OutSystems or other lowcode development platforms.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git).
