About the Company
Our client is a real estate debt and equity brokerage firm. They raise capital by brokering mortgages and placing equity through the established network of capital providers.
Scope of the Role
The Financial Research and Client Relations Associate will play a critical role in supporting the sales development team by enhancing the HubSpot database conducting outreach to capital providers and ensuring uptodate investment criteria are available. This involves calling capital providers to update criteria sending followup emails and building strong communication pipelines. A background in real estate finance or fundraising is essential.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Scrub the database by contacting capital investors to update investment criteria via email and phone calls.
- Conduct proactive outreach to capital providers to raise funds including followups for unanswered emails.
- Identify and research new capital providers not currently in the HubSpot database.
- Research prospective clients looking to hire the company for capitalraising services for real estate deals.
- Locate new contacts for bounced emails.
- Review real estate publications and analyze lenders/investors behind major transactions.
- Manage and update pipelines in HubSpot.
- Perform general administrative tasks.
Requirements:
- C1 English level
- Comfortable speaking on the phone with executives and making cold calls to capital providers.
- Strong knowledge or experience in real estate finance or fundraising is required.
- Experience with Hubspot and Excel.
- Familiarity with real estate finance terminology such as IRR DSCR and LTV to name a few is helpful but not required.
- Experience researching the contacts behind companies on United States Division of Corporation websites such as sunbiz.org.
- Experience with CoStar and Trepp is a plus.
