Position: Sales and Account Manager What You’ll Do: As a Sales and Account Manager you’ll play a crucial role in driving business growth while ensuring smooth operations from order to fulfillment. You will balance sales strategy with customer relationship management and operational tasks.

Business Development: Identify and target potential clients within manufacturing engineering and purchasing departments across various industries to drive revenue growth.
Sales Strategy: Develop and execute effective sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
Client Relationships and Technical Consultation: Maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their needs and providing tailored technical solutions ensuring their satisfaction and encouraging repeat business.
Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of our manufacturing capabilities to effectively communicate benefits and features to potential clients.
Market Research: Conduct market research to stay uptodate with industry trends and identify new business opportunities.
Negotiation and Closing: Negotiate contracts and close deals.
40% Other Tasks:
Order Management and Fulfillment: Accurately receive enter and review customer orders and quotes for correct pricing shipping terms/location and quantities while evaluating product availability and lead times with an awareness of special customer requirements. Monitor and track orders from purchase order receipt to product release and shipment including any necessary followup actions.
Prioritization: Prioritize work to ensure deadlines are met.
Purchasing Activities: Lead purchasing activities with stakeholders including vendor network management identifying potential suppliers negotiating pricing and vetting suppliers.
Quoting: Expedite purchasing activities to ensure quotes are received and submitted to customers in a timely manner.
Effective and Proactive Communication: Communicate effectively over phone and email providing proactive updates to customers regarding order status logistics issues and action plans to meet delivery expectations. Ensure the sales team and other stakeholders are aligned and informed.
Documentation: Maintain accurate project filing and documentation create/maintain various spreadsheets and prepare meeting agendas and notes.
Operational Support: Assist with projects for operations and quality control as needed.
