Job Description

Position: Paid Media Specialist
Type of contract: Independent Contractor
Working Hours:
9am 6pm South Africa business hours
Salary Range: $1500 $2000 USD monthly

As we're gaining significant traction and expanding our products we’re looking for a highly motivated and skilled Paid Media Specialist. The right candidate will thrive in a highgrowth environment and will be passionate about helping students.

About the Role

This role is perfect for any candidate who is extremely organised and wants to step up and take ownership of multiple campaigns at once giving you the autonomy and trust of your manager. We’re looking for someone with excellent English who is a smart driven individual who wants to be a part of a highgrowth team and collaborate with the UK’s leading universities.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • You'll be responsible for planning delivering and reporting advertising campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Manage advertising budgets across Facebook Instagram TikTok Snapchat StackAdapt and Spotify.
  • Plan execute and report on key events and campaigns for our Higher Education clients.
  • Identifying common themes and stories that emerge from our internal data.
  • Confident in presenting campaign performance to stakeholders and staying informed about new advertising features trends and updates.
  • Develop advertising strategies tailored to the target audience and business objectives.
  • Implement and optimize retargeting strategies using programmatic platforms to increase conversions.
  • Set up targeting parameters budgets bidding strategies and ad schedules.
  • Understand and advise on how to implement tracking pixels and conversion tracking tools.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience managing advertising campaigns with proven results
  • Proven track record of running Social Ads across most or some of Facebook Instagram TikTok Snapchat StackAdapt and Spotify.
  • Proficiency in GA4 Google Tag Manager and Google Ad Manager
  • Experience running Display Ads via Google
  • Experience running Audio Ads via a provider or directly through Spotify etc preferred but not essential.
  • Experience with DSP/Programmatic preferred but not essential
  • Excellent communication skills: you will be readily available proactive in providing updates and clear in your written communication
  • You will be able to work independently manage personal time and keep deadlines at the top of your mind.
  • You’re an analytical thinker not afraid to challenge assumptions and make decisions.
