Now were looking for a Backend Developer specializing in Node.js to join our dedicated Credit Card Team.
About the role
As a Backend Developer at Qred you will be part of our dedicated credit card team working on functionality related to our credit card and its accompanying app. The credit card is already a key part of our product offering but we have big plans for the future as we want to make it even easier and better for our customers by continuing to develop new features.
As a backend developer you will play a key role in ensuring that our backend support is fast stable and userfriendly for the app and our other systems.
What youll do:
- Teamwork and collaboration: Work closely with other developers in the team including a Tech Lead to find the best solutions and ensure we meet our goals.
- Test your own code: Take responsibility for the quality of your work by creating and running tests to ensure stability and functionality.
- Drive innovation: With a DevOps mindset improve our workflows and contribute to the optimization of operations and delivery.
- Promote security and performance: Ensure our systems are secure and perform at their best even as our user base grows.
Who were looking for:
- Experience: 25 years of experience in backend development with Node.js and familiarity with modern workflows such as DevOps and Continuous Delivery.
- Cloud expertise: You have experience working with cloud platforms. We use AWS but specific AWS experience is not a hard requirement as long as you have relevant knowledge from other cloud environments.
- Testing: You are comfortable writing and executing tests for your own code.
- Communicative and teamoriented: You thrive working within a team enjoy sharing knowledge and contribute to building a strong team spirit.
- Technical curiosity: You enjoy staying up to date on new technologies and tools in backend development.
- Language skills: You are comfortable using English as your working language and understand the importance of clear communication in an international team.
