Job Description
We are looking for a Mid Senior Embedded Software Engineer with Android C and Python as their main language as well us an understanding of system architecture.
The team works with Emulators SW complexity reduction.
Your Profile (Musthave requirements)
- Development of embedded software for complex software products using C and Python.
- Experience with embedded operating systems or Linux.
- Development within the Android platform.
- Experience working in a CI environment.
- Development improvement testing and maintenance of a new hardware platform.
- Ensuring the foundation for all application teams to build their components.
- Working closely with developers product managers and QA teams to ensure the emulator meets both testing and development needs.
- Identifying and resolving issues with the emulator related to performance compatibility or usability.
- Assisting teams in understanding emulator behavior and troubleshooting complex issues.
- Supporting application teams in adapting their software for the emulator.
- Ensuring the emulator platform reuses the existing shared software platform codebase.
- Ensuring the emulator platform provides functionality comparable to the hardware platforms for application developers.
- Adapting SELinux policies to function correctly with the emulator platform.
- Coordinating and communicating with CI teams to integrate the emulator into the Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery pipeline.
- Expertise in optimizing emulator performance including CPU and memory usage to ensure the emulator is fast and efficient.
Meritorious
Test automation experience using Pytest
Previous working experience with emulators
