Job Description
**Overview:**
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Mechanic with a strong background in mechanical systems to join our team. The ideal candidate will have handson experience in troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery mechanical systems and equipment. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and minimizing downtime due to mechanical failures.
**Responsibilities:**
Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery and mechanical equipment according to established schedules and procedures.
Conduct inspections to identify and resolve issues before they become major problems.
Troubleshoot mechanical failures and perform repairs promptly and effectively.
Install new machinery and equipment as needed ensuring proper setup and functionality.
Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance and repair work.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed.
Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
Recommend improvements to maintenance procedures and processes to enhance efficiency and reliability.
Respond to emergency maintenance requests as required.
**Requirements:**
Proven experience as a Industrial Mechanic or similar role with a focus on mechanical systems.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problemsolving skills.
Ability to read technical manuals schematics and blueprints.
Familiarity with industrial equipment and machinery.
Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
Good understanding of safety procedures and regulations.
Excellent organizational and timemanagement skills.
Teamoriented with the ability to work independently when necessary.
Certification or training in mechanical maintenance is a plus.
Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to afterhours emergencies.
