Job Description
Detail
- CPA designation required
- 7 plus years of public accounting experience with multiple years in a managerial role
- Experience in the following Audit Niches: Construction NonProfit and Energy
- Simultaneously able to manage multiple engagements and their respective teams while maintaining attention to detail and team members needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct audits of financial statements in accordance with professional standards and firm policies.
- Lead engagement teams in executing audit plans and supervising junior staff.
- Identify and resolve auditrelated issues while providing recommendations for process improvements.
- Prepare accurate and comprehensive audit reports for clients.
- Maintain effective communication with clients and team members to ensure expectations are met.
- Stay current on relevant accounting and auditing principles regulations and practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on assurance services.
- Experience with nonprofit organizations is highly desirable.
- CPA designation or actively pursuing CPA certification.
- Strong understanding of GAAP GAAS and relevant auditing standards.
- Excellent analytical organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in accounting and auditing software.
