Senior Java Developer
Location : Austin TX
Day one Onsite
Responsibilities
Lead a team of developers in designing developing and maintaining Java applications in the identity and access management domain.
Write clean maintainable and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define design and ship new features.
Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
Mentor and guide junior developers fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
Stay uptodate with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our applications remain current and competitive.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
7 years of experience in Java development.
Strong understanding of identity and access management concepts including OAuth JWT and other authentication/authorization protocols.
Proficiency in Java and related frameworks (e.g. Spring Hibernate).
Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
Solid understanding of software development principles including objectoriented design data structures and algorithms.
Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git).
Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with public cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure).
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools
Knowledge of security best practices in software development.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
