Job Description
Key responsibilities
- Assisting Line Managers in all matters related to Legal Support to HOs Sales Marketing Finance HR& IR Logistics & Purchase;
- Basic Knowledge of mines mineral environment laws & land laws;
- Supporting New Business Line in streamlining the business and stay complied;
- Drafting Agreements; purchase orders bank guarantees petitions applications; replies to demand/showcause notices bid documents etc.
- Assisting Line Managers in Litigation Management & coordinating with advocates on matters pertaining to recovery Consumer Forums & other matters;
- Assisting in IPR Management & regular Trademark related work;
- Assisting in implementation of Statutory Compliances & ensuring compliances at various plants;
- Working on industrial and labour laws;
- Provide support in mining Laws and other related issues;
- Handling the Billing Process for outside Counsels & Solicitors Firm
- Collaborating with team on various ongoing issues as and when required
Special Skill /Training
- Bachelors degree in Law/Masters in Law (Preferable) from a premier Law school.
- Having the hunger to learn & achieve;
- Basic understanding of Mining laws corporate laws Labour laws and compliances.
- Ability to grasp in faster pace & execute instructions;
- Strong analytical communication and leadership skills with the ability to effectively lead and manage the legal team.
- Ability to work independently manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines with attention to detail.
- Excellent Drafting Skill.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationshipbuilding skills with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent drafting research and analytical skills.
- Possess requisite skills in legal research and drafting of pleadings and opinions;
Required Experience: Minimum of 5 to 7 year of experience in a similar legal role in a company /Reputed Law Firm;
