Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in vegetation management with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Proven track record of strategic development operational oversight and financial management.
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent at a minimum. A bachelors degree in a relevant field (e.g. Arboriculture Environmental Science Business Administration) is preferred advanced industry certifications highly desirable.
- Leadership: Demonstrated expertise in leading large teams managing complex operations and driving change in a fastpaced environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in geospatial tools project management software and Microsoft Office applications. Deep knowledge of transmission and distribution line clearance practices.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Extensive understanding of federal state and local regulations related to utility vegetation management with a focus on statespecific requirements.
- Certifications: ISA Arborist certification Multistate Pesticide Applicators License and other relevant industry certifications preferred.
- Travel: Significant travel required including overnight stays and extended field assignments.
- Bilingual: English/Spanish is desirable.
Physical & Environmental Requirements:
- Position requires a balance of officebased work and field operations with substantial travel to various project sites.
- Fieldwork may involve exposure to harsh weather conditions difficult terrain and physical demands such as lifting up to 20 lbs.
- Ability to work under pressure in emergency response situations is essential.
