  • Must have S/4 Implementation with building FIORI apps in SAP BTP.
Overview

The Developers role is to develop and enhance inhouse software applications or extensions by coding with a technical language to meet business requirements and objectives. This includes taking technical specifications and developing applications or integrating data between applications testing and completing the appropriate technical documentation. The developer will use best practices in software development adhere to SGWS development standards and focus on quality and innovation. The role may also involve providing support to end users including troubleshooting code.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Serve in a team leader capacity for largescale Application Development projects/programs.
  • Holistically design solutions in a complex environment ensuring longterm sustainability.
  • Research/troubleshoot maintain & configure software create test scripts and test applications and interfaces.
  • Lead the technical aspects of projects schedule and run meetings and coordinate with the business and other stakeholders.
  • Mentor and coach team members.
  • Research evaluate and recommend software and hardware products.
  • Design and implement architecturally compliant system landscapes.
  • Make recommendations to enhance systems processes and performance.
  • Determine priorities and pivot as needed.
  • Identify and mitigate risks communicating timely with stakeholders.
  • Drive progressive improvements to enhance processes and functionality.
  • Apply best practices.
  • Communicate with all teams in ETP and the business across departments.
  • Lead the development and expansion of coding standards initiatives.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of Software Code Development best practices and act as a thought leader within SGWS.
  • Participate in Agile teams.
  • Provide coaching and development to junior developers.
  • Improve the teams efficiency in resolving problems.
  • Identify and implement process improvement opportunities for Application Development programs.
  • Facilitate engineering training and education programs for SGWS.
  • Recommend strategies to reduce testing costs or improve systems quality through alternative staffing models.
  • Oversee work by 3rd party Development teams.
  • Lead the development of business and technical process documentation and training materials.
  • Drive the development of work scopes around business and technical solutions.
  • Serve as a liaison between divisions/functions and IT on projects and enhancements.
  • Review and troubleshoot issues independently.
  • Participate in seminars trade shows and oversee internal demonstration facilities.
  • Develop meeting structures and present at meetings.
  • Identify opportunities to redesign business processes for better results.
  • Educate the team on business goals.
  • Ensure process conformity and compliance.
  • Lead business requirements and acceptance criteria definitions.
  • Facilitate BehaviorDrivenDesign (BDD) processes.
  • Mentor in coding best practices and technical design.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree.
  • 6 years in software/application development or comparable experience.
  • Strategic thinker with managerial courage.
  • Strong analytical problemsolving and attentiontodetail skills.
  • Proficiency in Agile Development processes and large technology projects.
  • Strong communication skills with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Experience with interfaces (e.g. APIs ESB SAP PI).
  • Proven experience mentoring and improving code quality.
  • Strong capability to execute tasks with quality.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Masters Degree in Computer Science Information Systems or Software Engineering.
  • Experience in mentoring and directing thirdparty developers.
  • Wholesale/Distribution/CPG background.
