Job Description: Application Project Manager Data Analytics & Platform Upgrade (CRCR Platform & CDW)
Location: San Ramon CA
Rate : $65 $68/W2
Job Type: PartTime ( 20hrs a week. )
Position Overview: Client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Application Project Manager with expertise in Data Analytics CRCR Platform Upgrade and CDW (Cloud Data Warehouse). This role will be responsible for leading and coordinating the successful execution of the CRCR platform upgrade project ensuring alignment with governance standards PMO processes and overall project objectives.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analytics project management and platform upgrades with a demonstrated ability to manage crossfunctional teams track project deliverables and ensure timely and quality results. This role involves 5075% coordination and process management including overseeing daytoday activities resolving projectrelated issues and ensuring clear communication across all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Coordination & Management:
- Lead the coordination of the CRCR platform upgrade and CDW project initiatives.
- Oversee the project lifecycle ensuring all deliverables are met on time and within scope.
- Provide daily guidance to the project team ensuring smooth execution and alignment with project goals.
Governance & PMO Process Adherence:
- Ensure the project aligns with governance frameworks policies and standards.
- Implement and follow PMO processes methodologies and reporting structures.
- Regularly track and report on project progress risks and issues to senior management and stakeholders.
Stakeholder Management:
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to gather project requirements resolve issues and ensure clear communication.
- Act as a liaison between project teams business units and IT departments to ensure alignment and smooth delivery of project objectives.
Team Leadership & Guidance:
- Provide guidance and mentorship to the project team ensuring they are equipped with the necessary resources and support to achieve project goals.
- Foster a collaborative work environment encouraging open communication and problemsolving.
Risk Management & Reporting:
- Identify potential project risks and work proactively with stakeholders to mitigate them.
- Prepare and deliver regular status reports dashboards and presentations for management tracking project milestones timelines and key performance indicators. Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelors degree in Business IT Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project management with a focus on data analytics platform upgrades and cloudbased solutions.
- Proven experience managing largescale IT projects particularly in the area of data warehouse or analytics platforms (CRCR CDW etc.).
- Strong knowledge of PMO processes project governance and best practices.
- Experience coordinating with crossfunctional teams and handling multiple project deliverables simultaneously.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and problemsolving abilities.
- Ability to manage complex projects in a fastpaced environment.
- Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
- Proficient in project management tools (e.g. JIRA Microsoft Project or similar platforms).
- Familiarity with data analytics cloud computing and enterprise platform upgrades. Work Schedule & Time Allocation:
- 5075% of the time will be dedicated to coordination process management and overseeing project progress.
- Ability to adjust schedule based on project needs and deliverable deadlines. Additional Information:
- This position may require occasional travel depending on project needs.
