Job Description
Job Title: Computer Network Architect (US Citizens Only)
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:
Responsibilities:
- Design and deploy LANs WANs VPNs and SDWAN solutions to meet organizational requirements.
- Evaluate and recommend networking hardware and software for optimization and scalability.
- Develop and enforce security measures including firewalls IDS/IPS and VPN configurations.
- Monitor network performance and resolve issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to align network strategies with organizational goals.
- Create and maintain detailed network documentation including diagrams configurations and procedures.
- Manage networkrelated projects ensuring timely delivery and optimal performance.
- Stay updated on emerging networking technologies and best practices to implement innovative solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
- Experience in network design implementation and management.
- Proven expertise in working with complex network infrastructures in enterprise environments.
- Proficiency in networking protocols (TCP/IP BGP OSPF MPLS).
- Handson experience with routers switches firewalls and wireless access points.
- Knowledge of cloud networking solutions (AWS Azure Google Cloud).
- Experience in network monitoring tools (SolarWinds Nagios Wireshark).
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware HyperV).
- Ability to write scripts for network automation (Python PowerShell).
- Strong problemsolving and communication skills.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
