Job Description
Job Title: GIS Developer (US Citizens Only)
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop GIS applications tools and web services.
- Integrate GIS systems with other enterprise applications.
- Maintain and update geospatial databases and data models.
- Perform spatial analysis and develop custom geospatial solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver tailored GIS solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to GIS applications and systems.
- Stay current with the latest GIS technologies and trends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Geography Computer Science Information Systems or related field.
- Experience in GIS development.
- Proficiency in GIS software such as Esri ArcGIS QGIS or similar platforms.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python JavaScript or .NET for GIS application development.
- Strong understanding of spatial data formats and database management (e.g. SQL PostgreSQL/PostGIS).
- Experience with web mapping frameworks like Leaflet OpenLayers or ArcGIS API for JavaScript.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
