Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and detailoriented Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing surfaces applying paints and completing projects efficiently and with highquality craftsmanship. This role requires excellent attention to detail strong time management and adherence to safety and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning sanding patching and priming.
- Apply paint stain varnish or other finishes using brushes rollers or sprayers.
- Select and mix paint to match specifications and achieve desired colors or textures.
- Protect surfaces and surroundings with tarps tape and other materials to prevent damage.
- Repair surfaces including filling cracks holes or joints and removing old paint or wallpaper.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to specification.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good condition and ensure proper storage after use.
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines including the use of protective gear and safe handling of hazardous materials.
- Proven experience as a painter or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of paint properties techniques and application methods.
- Familiarity with using painting tools and equipment such as brushes rollers and sprayers.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and focus on quality.
- Physical stamina to stand climb and lift equipment/materials for extended periods.
- Good communication and timemanagement skills.
- Certification in painting or a related field.
- Experience in specialized techniques such as faux finishes or decorative painting.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards.
