Job Description
- Position: MRI Tech
- Location: Tacoma WA 98405
- Pay Rate: $64 $65/hr
- Weekly Gross Pay: $2500 $2600/week
- Shift: Days (5x8 hours)
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: ASAP
- Candidates may not be full time part time or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit including CHI and/or Dignity within the past year.
- Department: Radiology MRI
- How many scanners/rooms does this department have TWO
- Will they have to float/cover any other areas Outpatient/Inpatient
- Common types of imaging/studies performed & Job Duties MRI neuro body and MSK studies.
- Experience or Must have skills 2 years expirence
- Average # of scans/studies per day 13
- EMR &/or PACS (Picture Archive & Communication System: software & hardware) do they use EPIC EMR & Mckesson PACS
- Department Specific Equipment (GE Phillips Siemens) Siemens TIMS Symphany & 3T Trio
- Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech Jose Moreno Manager
- Do they use RRAs (Registered Radiology Assistants) NO
- Radiologist inhouse Yes
- Do they have to start IVs (if applicable to the department) Yes
- Shifts & Scheduling Day Shift
- Weekend Requirement No weekends unless mutually agreed upon
- Holiday Requirement No holidays unless mutually agreed upon
- Call or Standby requirement Limited oncall.
- Scrub Color/Dress Code: Are scrubs provided No scrubs are provided Traveler must use their own scrubs.
- Department specific orientation Yes First full week of orientation.
Requirements:
- BLS
- WA license
- Certs/ARRT & other specialty certification requirements ARRT
- Proficiency in operating MRI equipment and conducting various MRI examinations.
