Job Description

Job Title: DH Maintenance Technician II
Client: Aerospace Industry
Location: Carson City NV 89706
Duration: FullTime Position
Shift: 1st Shift 6:30 AM 3:00 PM (MonFri)

Pay Range: USD 27.00 /hr USD 35.00 /hr

Qualifications:

  • Position based on experience/qualifications (Maintenance II or III).
  • Must have electronic technician experience.
  • Maintain/repair machinery (engines motors conveyor systems production machines).
  • Perform maintenance on facility structures.

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 35 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination.

Language Skills:

  • Read/interpret safety rules manuals etc.
  • Write reports and communicate effectively.
  • Bilingual (EnglishSpanish) preferred.

Math Skills:

  • Add subtract multiply divide using whole numbers/fractions.
  • Calculate rates ratios percentages.

Reasoning Ability:

  • Apply common sense to written/oral instructions.
  • Handle problems involving various variables.

Physical Demands:

  • Regularly use hands stand walk climb kneel and crouch.
  • Must lift/move:
    • 25 lbs regularly
    • 50 lbs frequently
    • 90 lbs occasionally
  • Requires close vision depth perception color vision and focus adjustment.

Work Environment:

  • Exposed to extreme heat moving parts fumes airborne particles.
  • Occasional exposure to wet conditions high places and electrical shock risks.
  • Noise level is loud.

Responsibilities:

  • Read blueprints schematics and technical drawings.
  • Conduct tests to locate mechanical malfunctions.
  • Inspect parts for imperfections and dimension changes.
  • Adjust repair or replace parts and instruments.
  • Install structural/functional parts in devices.
  • Use machine tools for repairs and installations.
  • Test device performance after maintenance.
  • Operate lathe drill press grinder and metalworking tools.
  • Create purchase orders for parts/machines.
  • Repair electrical equipment and use brazing/welding tools.
  • Maintain repair records and shop cleanliness.
  • Adhere to safety procedures.
  • Perform Millwright duties.
