Job Description
Job Title: DH Maintenance Technician II
Client: Aerospace Industry
Location: Carson City NV 89706
Duration: FullTime Position
Shift: 1st Shift 6:30 AM 3:00 PM (MonFri)
Pay Range: USD 27.00 /hr USD 35.00 /hr
Qualifications:
- Position based on experience/qualifications (Maintenance II or III).
- Must have electronic technician experience.
- Maintain/repair machinery (engines motors conveyor systems production machines).
- Perform maintenance on facility structures.
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or GED.
- 35 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination.
Language Skills:
- Read/interpret safety rules manuals etc.
- Write reports and communicate effectively.
- Bilingual (EnglishSpanish) preferred.
Math Skills:
- Add subtract multiply divide using whole numbers/fractions.
- Calculate rates ratios percentages.
Reasoning Ability:
- Apply common sense to written/oral instructions.
- Handle problems involving various variables.
Physical Demands:
- Regularly use hands stand walk climb kneel and crouch.
- Must lift/move:
- 25 lbs regularly
- 50 lbs frequently
- 90 lbs occasionally
- Requires close vision depth perception color vision and focus adjustment.
Work Environment:
- Exposed to extreme heat moving parts fumes airborne particles.
- Occasional exposure to wet conditions high places and electrical shock risks.
- Noise level is loud.
Responsibilities:
- Read blueprints schematics and technical drawings.
- Conduct tests to locate mechanical malfunctions.
- Inspect parts for imperfections and dimension changes.
- Adjust repair or replace parts and instruments.
- Install structural/functional parts in devices.
- Use machine tools for repairs and installations.
- Test device performance after maintenance.
- Operate lathe drill press grinder and metalworking tools.
- Create purchase orders for parts/machines.
- Repair electrical equipment and use brazing/welding tools.
- Maintain repair records and shop cleanliness.
- Adhere to safety procedures.
- Perform Millwright duties.
