Job Description
Monitor Tech
Quality Healthcare Staffing is looking for Monitor Tech to work in hospitals in Queens New York.
Shift:
Hours Per Week 40
Hours Per Day 8
Days Per Week 5
Vacancy:

Remuneration:
Based on discussion
Qualifications:
1 year of acute care experience vital signs
Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent training
Completed a Telemetry Certificate Course (or Advanced Medical Technician Program with focus on cardiac monitoring)
One year experience as a telemetry technician
BCLS certification (required)
Cardiovascular certification preferred (through Cardiovascular Credentialing International)
EKG Certification
Education: AHA BLS required EKG Certification required
Responsibilities:
Observe heartbeats and electrocardiograms (EKGs) to assist with the interpretation and diagnosis of conditions related to the heart.
Have a strong working knowledge of medical equipment and software as well as good communication skills when interacting with patients.
