You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailWe are looking for a highly skilled and strategic Global Sales Head for our client a renowned organization in providing equipment and services to the oil&gas/maritime industries. The ideal candidate should have significant experience in leading sales and account management teams and a track record of driving growth globally. This is a senior mandate role leading a large global team & will report in to the CEO.
Key Responsibilities:
Spearhead the development and execution of the global sales strategy to meet revenue and profit goals contributing to overall P&L growth.
Ensure the sales strategy aligns with broader business objectives while proactively addressing regional complexities and opportunities.
Effectively communicate the sales strategy and business goals to the team ensuring every member understands their role in achieving company objectives and embodying organizational values.
Inspire and guide the sales team to achieve ambitious targets encouraging excellence and accountability in execution.
Allocate sales budgets to team members according to their respective regions ensuring alignment with business priorities.
Oversee the management of key accounts and ensure the creation of effective sales and relationship management plans for target customers.
Provide coaching and support throughout the sales pipeline from lead generation to closing to enhance team performance.
Foster opportunities for skills development and exposure to innovative sales techniques within the team.
Support in highstakes customer presentations and negotiations balancing commercial interests and risk.
Collaborate with leadership to develop an annual business plan aligning with corporate strategy setting forecasts and creating business cases for key projects.
Identify areas of improvement in the sales process and continuously work to refine and optimize it.
Cultivate a positive inclusive work environment where employees feel valued and empowered to contribute their best.
Promote a strong safety culture ensuring that safety considerations are integrated into all sales activities.
Lead by example in maintaining high standards of governance compliance and ethical sales practices across the region.
Organize regular sales meetings with Sales Managers Customer Service and Sales Operations to track progress and address challenges.
Utilize Salesforce CRM to track account pipelines sales activities and performance metrics.
Regularly review and analyze market opportunities including new business lost business and competitive threats taking corrective actions when necessary.
Qualifications & Experience:
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
1012 years of experience in managing sales and account management teams ideally within the oil&gas/ marine industries
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Experience using Salesforce.com and SAP for sales management and reporting.
Strong problemsolving and analytical abilities with a resultsoriented mindset.
Proactive selfmotivated and comfortable working with senior leadership.
Collaborative team player who is energetic enthusiastic and highly organized.
