Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Automation Engineer with a strong focus on Selenium and Java to enhance our software quality assurance efforts. The successful candidate will play a critical role in developing robust automation frameworks executing comprehensive test strategies and ensuring seamless integration of automated testing within our development pipeline.
Key Responsibilities

Automation Development:
- Develop maintain and execute automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and Java.
- Create and enhance automation frameworks (e.g. Hybrid DataDriven Page Object Model) to maximize efficiency and coverage.

CI/CD Integration:
- Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins GitHub Actions or similar.
- Ensure smooth deployments by automating testing for every build.

Testing Execution:
- Perform integration API regression functional and endtoend testing on web applications.
- Test RESTful and SOAP APIs ensuring robust backend validation.

Collaboration & Bug Tracking:
- Work closely with developers business analysts and stakeholders to identify and resolve issues early in the development lifecycle.
- Log and track bugs using tools like JIRA or TestRail.

Quality Assurance:
- Design and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans based on software requirements.
- Generate detailed test reports and metrics to assess software quality.

Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in software testing and automation.
- Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
Qualifications

Experience:
- 47 years of experience in software testing and QA with a strong focus on test automation.
- Handson experience in ECommerce domains and Continuous Testing is a big plus.

Technical Skills:
- Expertise in Selenium WebDriver and Java for test automation.
- Experience in developing and working with automation frameworks such as Hybrid DataDriven Page Object Model and Page Factory.
- Proficient in creating complex and stable web element locators.
- Familiarity with TestNG Maven Git/GitHub and Jenkins.
- Strong understanding of REST and SOAP API testing.

Methodologies:
- Indepth knowledge of Agile SDLC STLC and QA methodologies.
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g. JIRA TestRail).
