Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our leadership team. The CFO will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy of Organization ensuring the financial health of the organization and driving growth. This position is designed for a visionary financial leader with a strong background in the chemical manufacturing sector. You will collaborate closely with the CEO Board and key stakeholders to ensure financial accuracy compliance and operational excellence across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
As the Chief Financial Officer your role will encompass a wide range of critical tasks aimed at managing and optimizing Organizations financial performance:
1. Financial Planning & Strategy: Develop and implement robust financial strategies to support Organizations growth objectives.
2. Financial Reporting & Analysis: Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of management reports including monthly quarterly and annual financial statements.
3. Costing & Budgeting: Oversee the costing process manage the annual budget and review expenditures to maintain financial discipline.
4. Statutory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements including company law tax and internal audit processes.
5. Team Management: Lead and develop the finance team ensuring high performance and effective collaboration with other departments.
6. Audit & Risk Management: Oversee internal statutory and tax audits and manage risk mitigation strategies to protect the organizations assets.
7. Financial Decision Support: Provide financial insights and analysis to support key decisionmaking at the executive level and in board meetings.
8. Cash Flow & Working Capital Management: Monitor and manage the organizations cash flow liquidity and working capital to ensure operational efficiency.
Qualifications and Skills
Education & Experience:
1. Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is a must.
2. 1520 years of experience in finance with significant exposure to the engineering and manufacturing sectors.
3. Proven track record of managing financial operations in a company with a turnover of 25 crores or more.
4. Experience managing a finance team of at least 35 people.
Technical Skills:
1. Strong knowledge of costing budgeting and financial modeling.
2. Indepth understanding of company law taxation and statutory regulations.
3. Proficient in using management information systems (MIS) and financial software.
Interpersonal Skills:
1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
2. Strong leadership and team management abilities with a focus on mentoring and developing finance professionals.
3. Ability to think strategically while maintaining attention to detail in financial management.
